Toelichting:
Een eiland zo groot als Texel, met veel rotse, vlakke bergen en geen bomen. Uitgezonderd de verkoelende boompjes aan de 65 zandstranden. Tweederde van deze prachtige stranden is goed bereikbaar. Merichas is de oorspronkelijke havenplaaats: rustig.
